"I loved the series of mini pieces I created last December and knew that I would need to revisit and expand on the idea during my next trips to the mountains. I was extremely lucky this year to get to spend 8 weeks (!) in the French and Italian Alps. I spent the first month soaking it all in - I skied, I photographed, I knitted, I ate!
The final pieces connect the majesty of those amazing views and the deep emotions I feel about the people who are the strongest cheerleaders in my life - my incredible rocks!" - Chen
